I really need to find some tennis lessons, private but not too expensive in conshohocken/montgomery county PA, or the philadelphia area.
please help!! i’ve looked everywhere but it wasn’t really helpful. And the ones that were kind of ok had RIDICULOUS prices!
please help
Ok, this year instead of basketball, i wanted to do tennis, i love tennis, but since its going to be winter i wanted to find and indoor tennis lesson place, but idk where to find one.
I live in Ridgefield WA 98642 and my mom and dad said they could drive me anywhere, just the closest possible.
so i really want to start taking tennis lessons. it’s always been an interest of mine ever since my dad and i used to walk down to the park and court we used to live by every weekend when i was little. i’m thinking about taking private lessons at a local club. i know that playing tennis is a good way to stay active while having fun, but i want to know exactly what benefits i can get out of play tennis. and also, what to try to avoid, what is the best outfit to wear, ect. Anything and everything you think i need to know about tennis.
thanks<3
i'm a girl.
i don't think i'll get a "bigger snake"
and i don't think i'll be looking at girls in skirts unless i decide to become a *******.
There is snow on the ground now and I find it is hard to practice
I take lessons once a week for 1 hour. During my spare time i am usually watching video analysis on youtube. How much should I be practicing now and during the summer. I am intermediate/advanced and I am can only go once a week for 1 hour.
can I have a time for winter and summer (perferable 2 different times)
okay, i’m sick of losing. we played at another tournament today at our school [junior varsity]. i’ve begged my parents for tennis lessons or drills, but they deny. i play well when practicing, or without pressure alone, but in real situations i get so shaky and nervous. what do i do? and i usually have the best backhand..but its ben stinking lately. [2hander, i'm right handed]. what do i do? what are some great ways of getting lots of easy points in doubles, where you play other guys who only hit as hard as they can, or ‘dink it softly.’ what do i do? please help. my partner and i are fine on everything else, but confidence, serve, backhand volleys, overheads, and backhands. any advice? please help. our next match is in 5 days from today. it’d be nice.
thank you all.
i usually play well if i am aggressive-er, or meaner, but sometimes i feel strange when being like that. is it okay to be aggressive and meaner during the match, in order to control more of it? i play well aggressively, but usually my nervousness sometimes breaks it down.. :/
and sometimes the nervousness cracks down my self-esteem, and especially my footwork too, so it makes me feel kind of scared, sad, and flat-footed, lol..help?? ![]()
okay to the first guy that answered this, you are stupid! no offense! i mean this question seriously! i already practice with my flipping doubles partner!!!!!!!!
i have been playing tennis for over a year now, and been studying the game inside out. i took several private lessons and a few tennis courses, watched a lot of videos, so I’ m confident that i can play, my sister on the other hand is currently attending Junior tennis Clinics and been doing it for about half a year now, i can see that she has a lot of potential. my plan is to train her everyday this coming summer to competition Level, any ideas on how to do this? tips? drills?
my sister is 11 years old
Serena was written off by the critics, but her true fans believed in her abilty to rise. I could help but enjoy watching ,point by point how Serena showed Sharapova & the critics who’s the real champ in women tennis. 8 grand slams is a record to envy & she definetly booked her name in tennis histroy as one of the greatest & propably many slams to come. I say bravo Serena, it was about time to step in & show how tennis should be played & silence your critics & Sharapva’s fan.
Anyone wants to add any comments ?
