ok i want to take tennis lessons and a person offered me lessons. He said he would charge $30.00 an hour. what i want to ask is, is it a good deal compared with the other prices other coaches charge. The guy who offered me lessons is very good and plays in lots of tournaments etc etc.
I have taken a few tennis lessons, but not very much…i am trying out for my highschool tennis team in a few weeks, so i really need to get in shape..i read that you need to run a lot..which im working on..but i def need to work on more..im 14 and im not too out of shape..but im not exactly in shape either..i go to the gym once or twice a week, is there any specific excercises i should do there?…or at home?? anything would help! thanks!!
I need to lose about 7 or 8 lbs but i simply LOVE to eat and i have no willpower to resist cheeto’s and oreos and a lot of other yummie, extremely unhealthy foods.
the thing is, my family buys all that stuff and unfortunately, i eat it.
i **** to exercise, although i really need to. im starting tennis lessons, that’ll help. hopefully
but i need some good exercise moves and eating tips.
thanks!!!
I am in 8th grade and I want to be on my high school’s team. I am taking private lessons about every other weekend. I am a long distance runner, but I don’t like sprints. What can I do to make sprinting on the court easier? Also, what are some good drills I can do by myself (like without my parents help or help from my coach) to improve my playing?
im going to tennis lessons and i want to get a nice racket thats light but not to heavy and i want to get it in blue and the handel white any suggestions and where do you get it?
i have a pink prince with a white handel i want a blue prince with a white handel what do you think?? im NOT a beginner
yourself versus the racquets that are already strung? Obviously I do not play…would love to play recreationally…and hope to as my 12 year old son is starting to take lessons…so I was just wondering what the benefits of owning that racquet would be. AND…must you have a stringing machine to do that? Is it a pretty complicated procedure?
I have about 6 months to 1 year to learn.
Is this enough time to join my high school’s tennis team (if I take private lessons)?
My school’s team is pretty good. I think best in the region, but not in state. Honestly, I don’t think it will be that hard to join. I just want to be in a higher rank.
We don’t want lessons. Just some courts where adults can play tennis to get some exercise without paying for it. Also, indoor courts are especially good, seeing that winter is upon us.
This whole year I’ve been very busy with my freshman year in highschool. In the band, and playing the piano on the side. I really put tennis on the backburner and only played a couple days ago from a 5 month break :S i have OFSAA (all Ontario) coming up really soon, huge competition…I used to play alot, but I kinda let it slip..is there any chance I can get my game back..I’m going for lessons tomorrow.
