What, about tennis, made you stick with it and continue to today (if you did)?
Who do you most admire in tennis (past & present)?
Any life lessons learned from your experience playing tennis?
My sisters have been doing gymnastics for years and my parents have never hinted or told me how much their lessons cost. i mean it should be like a thousand dollars a week by what i can see. i mean they are at the gym for like 6 hours a day for 6 days a week? i looked but tennis lessons and those things are like 20 bucks for only a freakin hour ina half. i cant imagine how much it costs my parents. well i know every gym is different but im trying to get a number, how much do you have to pay for gymnastic lesons?
I’m looking for a tennis private lesson. I’m in intermidiate level, just wanna improve my skills. Can you tell me where can I find a instructor? I’m 19 and live in San Diego. I want to play tennis about 10 hours/ week.
I need to be able to get on the tennis team. Am i to old to pick it up?
Anything that will help. I already have a coach and my lessons start tomorrow.
Should I go to Saddlebrook tennis camp or get several private lessons.
My NTRP rating is either 4 or 4.5
i already workout and play a lot against my teammates
my uncle is an awesome player, and he’s helping me in addition to my taking lessons from a pro. I haven’t played before, so i don’t know what the coach will be looking for.
Hello everybody! I am an Asian female, upper-middle class, attending a public school. NYU has always been a dream of mine, but it is an extremely difficult school to get into, and I’m wondering if I have any chance at all.

I’m just really worried because I’m not involved in sports and music –my focus was on journalism and preschool ^^;;
Thank you all for your kind comments. It’s just that I have these sudden anxiety attacks lol. Btw, the SAT II scores are really bad –the last time I checked, you needed to get at least a 700 to show that you’re really knowledgable on that topic. But thanks anyway, you guys made my day!
I recently attended a tennis camp and on the last day they changed my serve grip. Now it won’t go in at all-My town does not offer private lessons or coaches-it’s all me…Should I use my old grip that went in but apparently did not have enough topspin or do you have ideas/drills to help with the new one?
Hey guys i want honest opinions.
No Crap.
I’m 13 turning fourteen April 14th this year.
Had my third tennis lesson today and my coach says i have great potential and i’m doing very well for my third lesson.
I’m doing individual coaching so I’m more focused and i learn heaps.
So, do you guys think i could be a professional Australian Tennis Player?
I dont plan on going to tennis schools or anything but is it possibe to start professionaly playing for australia when i’m like 25 or something?
What do you think?
This is my dream.
The private lessons are $40 an hour for as many weeks as possible and these group lessons are $429 for 11 weeks for 1 1/2 hours. The group lessons are with approximately 5 other people. Since i am more or less an advanced beginner, i would be in a class with an age range of 6th grade to 12th grade.
Which is the better deal? Also, if this affects anything at all, the private lessons would take place right after school so there would be no transportation to worry about. But the group lessons are about 10 miles away from my home. So yeah……what do you think?
Which is a better deal?
