I came across this wonderful site v\http://www.videojug.com/tag/tennis where free Tennis video lessons are given. Just wondering if anybody knows of any more such sites and I am not asking the youtube variety which do not have instructions or proper video films.

Hey! I am begining tennis lessons this week, and I need an idea for a simple hair style and outfit idea! I don’t need like a tennis skirt or anything for this first lesson, more like sweat pants and a t-shirt. Does anyone know any stores or items or just ideas that would look good out on the court and maybe a hairstyle as well? I have shoulder length blonde hair and I’m 14. Thanks so much!!

i am not a tennis player but took lessons as a kid but i don’t understand why there is a big diff of play in the variety of surfaces.
so basically nadal is slow moving then? since he does better in clay?

we are having auditions / try-outs for high school , i have been interested in the dance troupe(during activity days and after school) and the tennis varsity (after school only) so i just wanted to ask opinions where should i go.

HERE ARE THE FACTS:

1.i am also an academic student and a consistent honor student.

2.i am pretty good at dancing, i have been in the grade school dance club for the past four years.

3.i took tennis lessons before, i stopped, but i am willing to do it over the summer.

4. I actually considered going to both but my grades will suffer.

So, where should i go? Thanks a lot.
i can also go to the cheerleading squad for my batch, cause we have an inter-level competitions -> freshmen vs. sophomores vs. juniors vs. seniors

I play tennis sriously…so far I have taken 1 year’s lessons. I not only play tennis but i play basketball 2. Whenever i got to shop for shoes i always pick up a pair of basketball shoes. is it ok to wear basketball shoes instead of tennis shoes? thats wut ive been doing since i started tennis. what are the advantages of wearing tennis shoes while playing tennis…wut do tennis shoes offer that other shoes dont? also where can i get good cheap tennis shoes? 10 pts for best answer.

Ok, so I take private tennis lessons about once a week. Since I started taking them I’ve developed a HUGE crush on him. He’s quite a few years older than me, but I still really really like him. I was just wondering what were some ways to impress him and get him to like me. Obviously I can’t wear like nice clothes because it’s still a tennis lesson. What kind of things do older guys like? Can anyone help me out here??? Please…

I’m going into high school in the fall, and the tennis team won’t begin until Spring 2009. I’m not very good at tennis, and I can’t afford the lessons. How can I improve, and learn the moves in tennis? Thanks! =]

I dont play for my school but I play otuside of school with private lessons like twice a week. Will that still like I guess “count” on my college resume or will it just be all together irrelevant?

I really want to learn how to play tennis, and i’m just wondering if i can still start lessons at 15 ? would i take beginner adult lessons or should i go for private?

I also need some advice on racquets. When my mom heard i wanted to play tennis, she went out to wal-mart and got me a wilson triumph racquet for about $20. i’m wondering if i should stick with this one or go out and get another racquet. any suggestions are welcome.
