All rite there is this tennis coach who i take private lessons from and i think he is great. So far I’ve only had one lesson. But after that lesson everytime I schedule a lesson, something happens, either it rains, or he gets sick, etc. But my parents think he dosen’t show up on purpose, or something like that. I tried explaining to them, but they don’t care, partially because when I was 8 my dad signed us up for lessons but he never showed. And know i’m in some crappy clinic with a buch a people in middle school, when i’m in high school. So i am totally confused on what to do. Any ideas????

My tennis lessons are today and I’m really nervous because I absolutely **** at tennis, like I can’t even hit the ball.
Any tips not to embarrass myself in front of everyone in my class?

I’m 16 years old and I’m turning 17 next month. I’m planning on becoming a professional tennis player but all the people I’ve talked to said that I should had tennis lessons when I was in my earlier years. Don’t get me wrong, I played a lot of tennis when I was a kid, the only problem was I stopped after I was 13. Right now, I’m planning on having professional tennis lessons and I’m playing tennis almost every weekends for 5 hours straight. I’m really hoping that I can learn tennis and be a pro before 20, but does it sound impossible?

Today I took tennis lessons and I was the WORST there and I was the oldest. I didn’t bring my own racket though so I used my teachers which looked pretty old. I was embarassed on my way home because I couldn’t even balance tennis balls on the face of my racket.

I went home to practice so I used my sister’s racket and surprisingly everything was SOOOO much easier with her racket i could balance more balls on it I could actually hit with accuracy so let me ask you what helps a tennis player and does it depend on the racket

I want to learn intermediate-advanced tennis concepts. Can anyone recommend a related youtube video, ebook or blog? To be clear, I am not looking for beginner lessons. I’ve got serving, volleying etc. down. I’m looking for topics more along the lines of: strategy, ball spin, finesse, etc. Thanks!
