I would suggest getting the cheaper lessons first. After you get better you might want to go to the place where the better people play. One of the best places I have found lessons is PGA Superstore (I know it is a golf store, but they have one of the biggest tennis departments around with indoor courts and everything), the one near me in Atlanta offers free group lesson a couple nights a week and private lesson for $25-30 per hour (Which is a great deal).
