Hello everybody! I am an Asian female, upper-middle class, attending a public school. NYU has always been a dream of mine, but it is an extremely difficult school to get into, and I’m wondering if I have any chance at all.

SAT I First time: 1890
SAT I Second time: 2010
I plan to take it the third time in October

SAT II Spanish: 660
SAT II Math I: 610
(These scores are horrible! I will retake them)

AP World History: 5
AP English Language and Composition: 5
AP Spanish: 3

ECs:
3 years of volunteering at my old preschool – about 240+ hours
2 years of Spanish Club, hopefully I’ll get a position this year
4 years of Newspaper Club – I am the Editor-in-Chief
ESL tutor
Member of the National Honor Society
Daycare and tutoring elementary students
Intern for a film commission
2 years of private tennis lessons (I’m not THAT bad)

I’m also taking 5 APs this year (senior year).
I’m just really worried because I’m not involved in sports and music –my focus was on journalism and preschool ^^;;
Thank you all for your kind comments. It’s just that I have these sudden anxiety attacks lol. Btw, the SAT II scores are really bad –the last time I checked, you needed to get at least a 700 to show that you’re really knowledgable on that topic. But thanks anyway, you guys made my day!
