Lovin’ the outdoors asked:
Im excited and nervous about my first lesson. What will we run through, is it worth it? I’m so excited!
This isn’t the first time i have played, but it is my first lesson and d very much enjoy playing the game! I’m not excellent at it though so i’m really looking forward to some great tips i can take to the court when playing!

Expect to be embarrassed lol! You’ll soon discover it’s alot harder than it looks, but although challenging, you’ll also learn how good it feels to get it right =]
1st lesson- basics, how to hold the racket, forehand, backhand, where to put your feet. Feed tosses (instructor throws the ball slowly to you, and you hit it)
It is 2000000% worth it! Guaranteed! You’ll no doubt be tired, and a little gloomy lol, but with lessons here and there you’ll notice a quick improvement.
A good tip- find a wall to hit against- it helps you learn really fast and you don’t have to run everywhere for the balls lol
Tennis gets funner as you get better, so although your first lessons might not be so fun (alot of covering the basics, and doing drills), you should definitely stick at it.
