glad_boy asked:
My friend has recommended me a coach and he charges around $70 per hour (private). Is that reasonable?
East side of Singapore
Singapore dollars $30per hour best

east side of what city????/
Wii sports helps you get the wrist movements. lol. Tennis is one of those sports you just learn from expierience. There isnt a “proper way” to do it really. Just hold the racket right side up. Like golf: use the right clubs hold it right ect. Just know the rules and PLAY!
If you can’t afford a coach (and, no, a Wii is not a coach) then get a friend to teach you to play. Maybe you can take him or her out for lunch everytime you have a lesson. I know in the US many club pros conduct clinics that players can attend – the ones in my city are $20 (US dollars) for 1.5 hours. It’s not one-on-one instruction, but you do get some good tips and a lot of practice.
ok, that dude that said wii is an idiot… that in no way shape or form helps with tennis. im a pro in cincinnati ohio and its 58$ an hour for a lesson with me, i know a guy in florida who charges 120$ an hour… call around to local clubs and ask pricing… but remember, if a pro costs less it prolly means they arent as qualified. where i teach, we have a guy who is 48 an hour, one that is 54 an hour. and the director of tennis is 64 an hour… just to kind of give you an idea
