Tennis Lessons

Hey guys i want honest opinions.
No Crap.
I’m 13 turning fourteen April 14th this year.
Had my third tennis lesson today and my coach says i have great potential and i’m doing very well for my third lesson.
I’m doing individual coaching so I’m more focused and i learn heaps.
So, do you guys think i could be a professional Australian Tennis Player?
I dont plan on going to tennis schools or anything but is it possibe to start professionaly playing for australia when i’m like 25 or something?

What do you think?
This is my dream.

The private lessons are $40 an hour for as many weeks as possible and these group lessons are $429 for 11 weeks for 1 1/2 hours. The group lessons are with approximately 5 other people. Since i am more or less an advanced beginner, i would be in a class with an age range of 6th grade to 12th grade.

Which is the better deal? Also, if this affects anything at all, the private lessons would take place right after school so there would be no transportation to worry about. But the group lessons are about 10 miles away from my home. So yeah……what do you think?

Ok, so I took months(two days a week) worth of lessons last year. And tennis tryouts for the high school r on the 26th. I’m going to take high school tennis prep lessons every friday until the tryouts, but i dont have much experience what r my chance of making it?

My friend tried out in her 9th grade year and she made the team, but she never played tennis before that. Then she went to another school the next year and tried out and didnt make the team, even with a year of experience. My school isnt that much of a sports oriented school(i dont think so n e ways..)

Do I have a chance at making the team?

And what ususally goes on at tennis tryouts?(FYI: I’m in 10th grade)

I’m looking to start tennis lessons, i’ve played a quite a few times before so i’m definitly not a beginner, but probably not up to intermediate standards. I would like to compete as well – know any good coaches in this area of Hertfordshire?

If I go for Tennis lessons at verney tennis or like any other place do i have to go and find my own outfit from a mall or something then buy it or do they give you choices then you give them money for an outfit??

I played for about four years, then stopped because of surgeries. It’s been about 3 years or more since I’ve done lessons, but I’m starting them up again.

Any tips to get me back in my swing of things? I was really good and I’ve never really forgotten the form. Sites would help! Thanks.

I take rec lessons at place two times a week and some of the high schoolers on the team . Also now i take private tennis lessons with somone who has played tennis alot.

ok i want to take tennis lessons and a person offered me lessons. He said he would charge $30.00 an hour. what i want to ask is, is it a good deal compared with the other prices other coaches charge. The guy who offered me lessons is very good and plays in lots of tournaments etc etc.

I have taken a few tennis lessons, but not very much…i am trying out for my highschool tennis team in a few weeks, so i really need to get in shape..i read that you need to run a lot..which im working on..but i def need to work on more..im 14 and im not too out of shape..but im not exactly in shape either..i go to the gym once or twice a week, is there any specific excercises i should do there?…or at home?? anything would help! thanks!!

I need to lose about 7 or 8 lbs but i simply LOVE to eat and i have no willpower to resist cheeto’s and oreos and a lot of other yummie, extremely unhealthy foods.

the thing is, my family buys all that stuff and unfortunately, i eat it.

i **** to exercise, although i really need to. im starting tennis lessons, that’ll help. hopefully

but i need some good exercise moves and eating tips.
