I was wondering if there are any indoor tennis courts that are open to the public for FREE or for a small fee in Philly. I know where a few close open outdoor ones are, but its cold now.. and i’d rather not learn to play outside…

Im getting professional lessons over the summer, but my friend is going to help me asap..
Thanks,
I LOVE you for the help,

ABC asked:

Is it legal in the state of Washington, or in any other state to use public land to create a private profit?

More specifically, would somebody be able to use a high school’s tennis courts for their own private tennis lessons?

Would they have to receive approval from the high school, or from the state, or how would that work?

Is it too late to become a tennis pro?

I have always had an interest in tennis. I am in 9th grade now, a freshman. I tried out for the tennis team, but I didn’t get in. I decided I would take tennis because I love sports and to get on the team. I wanted to go to tennis, and had to kept reminding my parents again and again until I finally got lessons. The difference is that I wasn’t forced like other kids to take the sport. I am already athletic, and my coach says I get the feel of the ball. I am 14, but I am catching on fast. I want to become professional and am willing to do what it takes. The problem is I am taking lessons once a week. Money is an issue because it is $45 a lesson. I really love tennis and my teacher was shocked that I was getting it so fast. i have never played any tournaments or anything. I played from late november of 2010 until now. He also wants me to take it twice a week, but there’s that money issue. I love tennis and want to prove to the world that I can become professional. Maybe I ca catch up. Or is it really that late. John McEnroe started at age 10 and ranked #1 in the world at one point. What do you think, can I do it?

How should I prepare for tennis?

tayl☮r. asked:

I’m thinking of doing it this year (10th grade), but not only do I not have any actual tennis experience beyond some lessons when I was younger and playing with friends, I also will obviously be starting a year later than everyone. It’s no-cut, but I should still prepare for it.

Do you play tennis or know anyone who does?
I think it starts in mid-August… how should I get ready (running, etc.)?
Anything else?

Thanks. :)

Like if you do tennis lessons must there be a journal entry for each lesson or just one for the whole activity? If that is the case what happens when it is only 5 pages long?
